Standing on the Edge of Tomorrow

New Year's Eve. I love threshholds. Of course, every day we are standing on the edge of tomorrow. I usually do my yearly assessing and creating new intentions around Samhain, yet I'm the kind of person who also does it on a daily basis.

Especially now that I fully grasp the concept that every moment we are creating our own reality and future. If I do nothing else with MindCast, I will endeavor to convey that fact to many who have not yet grasped it, or who are on the cusp of awakening or grasping it. Tonight's show will surely reinforce the concept.

When President Obama took office, I recall reading an article based on Dante's quote, "Abandon hope, all ye who enter here." In Dante's work, it is the sign at the entrance to Hell. This author (unfortunately, I no longer know where I read it, so I can't make proper attribution) sets it forth for the realist -- that we must stop hoping and vainly wringing our hands and DO SOMETHING!

So, I moved from saying, "I hope," to "I want to," and finally to "I will," and perhaps I should move that to "I am."

I am. When I hear those words, it helps me to understand the omnipotence and omniscience attributed to "God." The task now is to help all people understand that this applies also to us -- but only for ourselves. We are as omnipotent and omniscient as we choose to be and as we allow our awareness to be.

But I realize, even as I say that, that when I write, when I learn, when I share -- it must be only to myself that I think and speak. If anyone else is listening and perhaps inspired by something I say, that is icing on the cake. I must not presume to teach.
